DIY SOS

Nick Knowles and his team are back to take on the transformation of whole houses, changing the lives of the people who live there forever. These are families in dire need and the team must enlist the help of family, friends and local trades if they are to have a hope of achieving their goal.
Project managing these bigger builds is no easy task, creating tension, drama and, of course, the odd fall-out. Some of the team have known each other since childhood and their relationships, good humour and banter are intrinsic to the success of the show. Each episode climaxes in a dramatic, feel-good ending.
Everyone who has helped out on the build is there as the family see their new home for the first time. It is an emotional and sometimes overwhelming moment - a celebration of days of back-breaking work, a stunning result and a community brought together for a common purpose.
